Conor Nickolas Sweetman

Conor Nickolas Sweetman was stillborn on June 16, 2020 in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Buck, of Redeemer Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Conor Nickolas Sweetman, stillborn, was born on June 16, 2020 at 11:54 AM. After months of waiting, his family finally got to meet their baby boy. The anticipation of holding him and loving him, waiting to see who he would look like.  He looked like his dad with his mother’s nose, chubby cheeks, and lots of dark hair. Conor was perfect and more beautiful than they could ever have imagined, but their baby boy never took a single breath on this earth.  He gets to spend eternity in a place just as perfect and beautiful as he is and was shown to us. Conor Nickolas Sweetman is, was and always will be so loved and we are absolutely blessed to have met him and to have held him in their arms even if it was just for a day.

Conor is survived by his parents, Trey Sweetman and Sasha Tate of Pampa, brother, Tyler Tate of the home; maternal grandfather, Rusty Cooper and Margarita of Levelland; paternal grandparents, Kellie Lassley and husband Thomas of Norman, OK; paternal great grandmother, Linda Green of Norman, OK; aunt, Shayla Huff  of Norman, OK; 3 uncles, Dylan Sweetman of Norman, OK, Dallas Lassley and wife Brooklyn of Duncan, OK, and Logan Lassley of Weatherford, OK. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Cano; uncle, Nickolas Tate; and paternal great grandfather, Eddie Green.
