Debra Hubanks Muir, 63, of Aurora, Illinois, formerly of Pampa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Aurora, Illinois.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rick Parnell, retired baptist minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Debbie was born Feb 17, 1956, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Robert “Bob” and Wanda Hubanks. She attended Pampa High School. Debbie married Jerry Muir Jr. on July 5,1997, in San Antonio, Texas. She worked for Sunsource in Aurora, Illinois, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems and truly enjoyed spending every day working alongside her husband. Debbie lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; enjoying time with friends and family, attending her grandchildren's events, and spending as much time as possible spoiling her great grandson. She had an uncanny ability to reach people on a deep and positive level. Debbie's smile was like none other and her absence will be felt by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Wanda Hubanks.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Jerry of Aurora, Illinois; two daughters, Shannon Conn and husband Carroll of Nashville, Tennessee and Heather Hurley and husband Glenn of Cypress; a son, Heath Morrow and wife Ashley of Dallas; six amazing grandchildren, Kayla, Emma, Clayton, Garrett, Hayden, and Madison; and great-grandson, Sage; two brothers, Larry Hubanks of Athens, Georgia and Robbie Hubanks of Amarillo; two sisters, Pamela Jennings and husband Johnathan and Rhonda Barnett and husband Jerry of Pampa; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
