Diana Sexton

Diana Sexton, 56, of Pampa passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her home in Pampa.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Paul Nachtigall, of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Diana was born April 28, 1962 in Pampa and was a 1980 graduate of Pampa High School. After graduation she pursued a business administration degree. Diana moved to Austin in 1984, and then to Alaska in 1987 and married Tim Sexton on August 28, 1993 in Ketchikan, Alaska. They lived there for 14 years, she worked at Ketchikan Ship yard as an administrative assistant for a few years before going to work for a CPA firm. Diana handled a lot of the human resource duties as well as payroll. When they left Alaska, they moved to Sweet Home, Oregon for a short time before returning to Pampa in 2002 to be closer to her family. She started her career with Gray County District Clerks office and later transferred to the Juvenile Probation office, where she was currently employed. She attended Highland Baptist Church. Her hobbies included buying and selling items on eBay and was an avid Mickey Mouse memorabilia collector which included Walt Disney trading pins. Diane also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, working and framing jig saw puzzles, and most of all listening to her son, Jacob, play his music. She enjoyed spending time outdoors as well as spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her dad, Gerald Rasco; grandparents, Clifton Travis and Dovie Lou Rasco and Alvis Monroe and Larue Higgins.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Sexton of the home; her son, Jacob Sexton of Canyon; her mother, Joyce Rasco of Pampa; a sister, Kristy Wheeler and husband James of Amarillo; a brother, Gary Higgins and wife Vonda of Pampa; and her father, A.C. Higgins of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019, at the funeral home.
