She pridefully served Pampa with her bookkeeping skills for 15 years at Citizen’s Bank and Trust. Dona then explored another talent, becoming and assistant manager for McDonald’s. All the while quietly leading her young crew to maturity and being a friend and confidant to the others. She once again used her clerical skills to serve as a dedicated and efficient employee for 15 years at the Gray County Tax Office. Dona was baptized in the Lutheran Church and was steadfast and a faithful member. All the while experiencing the love and care of her church family. Dona was a private person, quiet in nature, however if you became her friend, you had found a valuable treasure.
