Donald Ray Davis

Donald Davis, 76, of Skellytown, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, in Skellytown.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Donald was born on March 20, 1948, in Denison to Carl and Mabel Davis. He loved to watch westerns and listen to music. Donald enjoyed watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee and a smoke in his hands. He was funny, tough, and stubborn. He fought like hell until the end. 

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mabel Davis; brother, Carl Dean Davis; sister, Betty Beardslee; nephews, Bobby McMurrian and Devin Beardslee.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Dupree and husband Jamie; son, Bryan Jeffcoat; two granddaughters, SaTessa Myers and husband Michael, Maggie Duke; two grandsons, Blake and Cameron Jeffcoat; great granddaughter, Gwendalynn Myers; great grandson, Michael Myers; two sisters, Twana McMurrian and LoAnne Manion.
