Donald Farrar

Donald Farrar, 60, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Pampa.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Donald was born on March 4, 1963 in Kermit to Melvin and Mertle Dick Farrar. He graduated third in his class from Mobeetie High School in 1982. Donald worked for Pampa ISD, first as a custodian and then a bus driver, for 20 years. He then worked at Taylor Mart and Allsups for several years.

Donald enjoyed watching football, fishing, and spending weekends with his family. He also enjoyed watching western movies, the news, and The Price is Right. Donald was ornery, but also incredibly compassionate. He was always willing to care for those in need. Donald believed that nothing was more important than family. He was a Baptist.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and one niece, Talitha Thomas.

He is survived by two brothers, Danny Farrar and wife Lori, and David Farrar; his caregiver and friend, Cynthia Thomas; and several other friends and extended family members.
