Donna Marie Sweet

Donna Marie Sweet, 59, of Pampa passed away Monday, November 9^th, 2020.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Viewing will be on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Donna was born on April 13, 1961 in Dumas to Don and Joyce Selby Haire. She grew up all over the country. Donna and her family moved to the Canyon area in 1998 before settling in Pampa in 2005. Donna never met a stranger; she was loved by so many who came into her life over the years. She was loyal, kindhearted, a fighter, and will greatly be missed. Donna enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren. She worked for many years at Kelley’s Chevron.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Don & Joyce Haire, and her sister, Derenda Whitten.

Her survivors include her children, Letitia Grittman & husband John of Mississippi, John Sweet & wife Rachel of Arizona, Elizabeth Sweet of Louisiana, Johanna Sweet of Texas, Frederick Sweet & wife Darby of Pampa, Miriam St Laurent & husband Chris of Pampa, and Matthew Sweet of Pampa; 17 grandchildren; 3 sisters, DeLina Sheets of Canyon, DeVon Johnson of Arizona, Daphina Park of Denton; 1 brother, Wayne Haire of Clarendon; and many extended family members.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Clarendon College, PO Box 968, Clarendon, TX, 79226 for the Donna Sweet Memorial Scholarship.
