Donnie Eugene Minnick

Donnie Eugene Minnick, 90, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2023 in Pampa.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Donnie was born in Fargo, Oklahoma to George and Letha Minnick. He moved to Pampa in 1933 and was a graduate of Pampa High School. After graduating, he moved to Amarillo where he worked at Sunshine Dairy.  He moved back in Pampa and began working at Montgomery Ward. Donnie worked for Montgomery Ward for several years until his retirement. He also ran the Red Barn, a secondhand store, until his passing. Donnie was married to Lois Willis, and they shared 67 years together until her passing on December 28, 2022. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Donnie enjoyed working with his hands whether it was building, repairing, or painting.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Minnick; his parents, George and Letha Minnick; one brother, Dewain Minnick; and one sister, Juanita Wagner.

Donnie is survived by his two children, Ronnie Minnick and wife Doris, and Donna Minnick; one brother, Junior Minnick; one sister, Deloris Morris; two granddaughters, Juliana Minnick and Lori Ford; and five great-grandchildren.
