Donnie “Wolfman” White, 80, of Pampa, passed away December 23, 2023, in Pampa.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Donnie was born on November 14, 1943, in Los Angeles, CA to O.V. and Ethel White. He grew up and later graduated school in Taft, CA. Following high school, Donnie joined the oil and gas industry, working as a heavy machinery operator for many years. While in California, he met Sue Rowden and they later married in Las Vegas, NV. They shared several good years before she preceded him in death in 2006.
After Sue’s passing, Donnie would come to Texas, living in Bowie, to help his family care for his mother. Later, after his mother’s passing, Donnie’s health would need assistance as well; so, he moved to Pampa to be closer to his sister, Melba. Donnie loved anything fast, whether it was cars or motorcycles and he especially loved Nascar. He also enjoyed collecting guns and knives. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife.
Donnie is survived by his two sisters, Melba Lynch and husband Lester of Pampa, and Esther Wildharber and husband Jim of Bakersfield, CA; two nieces, Mary Minton and husband Herb, and Gail Mertz and husband Mark, all of Pampa; three nephews, Jim Wildharber and wife Ruth of Lafayette, LA, Dean Lynch of Pampa, and John Wildharber and wife Heather of Santa Barbara, CA; sister-in-law, Carol Robison; nephews-in-law, Bobby, Leroy, Roy, Jr., Jeff, and Ben; nieces-in-law, Tina and Becky; and other great nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
