Doris Jean Young-Tillmon, 70, of Pampa went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Dallas.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Mark’s CME Church with Elder Herman Moore and Pastor R. L. Hunnicutt, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Doris Jean Young-Tillmon was born April 19, 1948 in Wellington to Eugene and Geneva Young.
She graduated Pampa High School in 1967. She met the love of her life in 1963 and married in December 22, 1967.
She worked for Southwestern Bell for seven years. Doris loved reading, adored her family and being a house wife.
Doris accepted Christ at an early age. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was non-denominational but her faith was in her Lord and Savior Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Dale Young, Rayford Young, Waymon Young, and Robert Young and a sister, Elena Young.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Bobby Joe Tillmon and son Terence of the home; 4 Brothers Carter Young, Rodney Young, Kevin Young, Jeff Young all of Pampa; a sister Jennifer Hycinth (Williams) of Houston; 4 Special Nephews Josh Young, Aaron Young, Rayford Young II, and Zack Young; 7 Special Nieces Kymberly Young, Skylar Hycinth, Tonya Young, Kaitlyn Hycinth, Shelley Young, Shandale Young, and Lolli Young and a host of relatives and friends.Service Schedule
