Michael Boyd

Michael Boyd, 61, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Pampa.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Michael was born on June 13, 1959 in Amarillo to Bill and Erma Sutton Boyd. He attended school at Palo Duro High School. Michael lived in McLean for a short time before moving to Pampa after he met the love of his life, Shirley Ledford, in 2016. He enjoyed camping, going to the lake, playing pool, and spending time with family and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his fiancée, Shirley Ledford of Pampa; his son, Dusten Boyd of Amarillo; 4 siblings, Charlie Boyd of Blue Eye, Missouri, Karon Patterson of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Eula Utsey of Amarillo, and Gaylyne Manns of McLean; 2 soon to be stepchildren, Cliff Ledford of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Amy Brooks of Tyrone, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
