Earl Dallas, 81, of Pampa passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 in Pampa.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with, F. H. Smith, nephew, officiating. Mr. Dallas was born on November 15, 1938 in Tatum, New Mexico to Harry and Cora Edwards Dallas. Earl graduated from Portales High School in 1956. In 1986, he graduated from Wayland Baptist College. He married Mary Jane Adams on December 28, 1957 in Olton. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2007. Earl spent 38 years at Cabot and IRI as a Quality Control Manager. He owned and operated Earl’s Engraving from 1985 until he sold it to a grandson in 2019. Earl and Mary loved to travel and square dance. He enjoyed woodworking, building cabinets, bowls, tops, candle stick holders, and anything else he could turn on a lathe. Earl was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Alan Dallas in 2014 and a son-in-law, Paul Phelps in 2020.
Survivors include his daughter, Pam Phelps of Pampa; two sons, Butch Dallas and wife Sheila of Pampa and Charles Dallas and wife Sherry of Houston; a daughter-in-law, Tamilan Weeks of Pampa; his sister, Mabel Hester in Lubbock; 10 grandchildren, Jason Phelps and wife Candace, John Phelps and wife Starla, Chris Johnson, Cory Dallas and wife Whitney, Alisha Dallas, Adeena Richey and husband JP, Arin Dallas, Keva Dallas, Alex Dallas, and Lexi Dallas; and 12 great-grandchildren
