Eddie Lee “Uncle Ed” Wilson, 71, of Pampa passed away Friday December 21, 2018 in Amarillo.
Services are 2:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Richard Bartel, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.
Ed was born March 30, 1947 in Canadian and was a 1965 graduate of Miami High School. He loved his life as a cowboy, spending hours in the saddle working cattle on ranches. Ed worked on numerous ranches in the Texas Panhandle. He lived in Wickenburg, AZ from 1985 to 2010. Ed was a cowboy, a member of the Wickenburg Volunteer Fire Department and member of the Elks Lodge #2160. He retired in Pampa and spent his time as a horse trader, working with wood and doing carpentry work.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother Jackie Bennett.
Survivors include his son, Shaw Wilson of Pampa; his brother, Wayne Wilson and wife Zelda of Pampa; his sister, Sharon Wilson of Bowie; his Aunt, Billie Hupp of Pampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association National Center, 722 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231.
