Edna Murray Tosh, 98, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in Pampa.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Collins, associate pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. The family asks that those attending the service to wear masks.
Edna was born on August 14, 1923 in Greenville to Alfred and Willie Graham Alexander. She attended school in Wellington and Mobeetie. Edna married Thorban Murray on November 29, 1945 in Wheeler. They moved their family to Pampa in 1951. Thorban passed away only six years later in 1957. Edna later married Thomas “T.C.” Tosh on October 1, 1960 in Pampa. He passed away in 2000. Edna was a longtime member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and going on walks. Edna loved flowers. She would supervise T.C. as he tended the garden, making sure that her flowers were growing just right. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Barbara Gage; and nine siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Weaver and husband Benny of Pampa; son-in-law, Clifford Gage of Lubbock; three grandchildren; Karen Barton and husband Gene, Thorban Weaver and wife Alecia, and Dana Jones and husband Mike; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob Barton, Aaron Barton, Hudson Weaver, Kaylee Weaver, Reese Weaver, Ayden Jones, and Tucker Jones; two siblings, Ann Moyer and Bill Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
