Esteban Torres

Esteban Torres, 71, of Pampa passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in Lubbock.

Rosary will be said 6:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Esteban was born September 1, 1946 in Santa Barvara, Chihuahua Mexico. He moved to Colorado in 1996 and then to Pampa in 2003. Mr. Torres was married to the love of his life, Edelmira Sanchez for over 50 years. He worked as a janitor at Pampa Independent School District for 10 years. He enjoyed working on his truck, sitting with his dog, Pancho, and eating good food, especially beans. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Esteban is survived by his loving wife, Edelmira; his three daughters, Rosa Torres, Angelica Torres and Maria Torres all of Pampa; his son, Esteban Torres, Jr.; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
