Florence McCunn passed away in Pampa on Saturday, July 18, 2020.

There are no services planed at this time.   Burial will be at Memory Gardens under the direction of Carmichael Whatley Funeral Directors.

Florence will be available for viewing on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 1:00-8:00 PM and from 8:00AM - 8:00PM on Tuesday.

Florence was born on January 24, 1931 at the Worley Hospital in Pampa.  She was the only child of V.E. (Skeet) & Lucile Wagner. She grew up and attended school in Pampa.  At age 15, she attended San Jacinto Beauty School in Amarillo and received her cosmetology license at 16.  She worked at the Personality Beauty Shop until her marriage.  She was very proud of getting her GED as an adult. 

Florence was married to Kenneth Elsheimer from Dec 1949 until Dec 1981.

She later married Donavon McCunn in Dec of 1983 and he preceded her in death in 2004.  

Florence was one of the original owners of V.E.Wagner Well Service, Inc. and continued to operate it until her retirement in 2000.  She had many business ventures thru the years including oil production, ranching, concrete block company, bowling alley, a trailer park and rental property.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Vickie Elsheimer Moose.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Poole and husband Robert of Pampa; 2 granddaughters, Mandy Guerrero and husband Jared, Megan Wilkes and husband Chris, all of Pampa; and a grandson, Perry Lee Moose and wife Teresa of Belton; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
