Floyd "Wild Bill" William Anderson

Floyd "Wild Bill" William Anderson, 68, of Perryton, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Victory Family Church in Perryton with Rev. Marlon Sparks, pastor at Victory Family Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Bill was born on August 31, 1954 in Perryton to John Willard Anderson and Martha Belle Hubbard Anderson. He was raised in and attended school in Perryton. After leaving school, Bill entered the work force. Before his retirement, Bill was working in the oilfield as an x-ray technician for Midwest. He enjoyed bull riding, watching Elvis Presley movies, playing his guitar, and watching wrestling. Bill was a gifted singer and country song writer. He was also an excellent cook.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Anderson; one brother, Tommy Anderson; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by five siblings, Sharon Norris of Dalles, Oregon, Gladys Ruth Fincher of Booker, Tammy Rena Anderson and Wilma Jean Harmon, both of Perryton, and Danny Ray Anderson of Amarillo; one daughter, Alicia Simpson of Yukon, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
