Freddy Winborne, 47, of Pampa passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in Pampa.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 19, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery with John Tinker Hearron, minister for the Soldiers for Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Freddy was born on December 10, 1974, in Pampa to John Winborne and Rhonda Presson. He attended schools in Pampa and was a lifelong resident. For the majority of his life, Freddy worked for various machine shops in Pampa. He also briefly worked for the railroad early in life, and at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts during the Covid-19 shutdown. Most recently, he worked for Flogistix, and was well-liked by his co-workers. On June 8, 1996, he married his high school sweetheart, Tonya Glassey. They were married for 15 years and had two daughters together. The couple loved to play video games together and would travel when they had the chance. Tonya preceded him in death on March 6, 2012.
Freddy had many hobbies, which included hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and family, making coyote calls, and collecting guns and knives. He even went back to school for a while and took computer classes. Freddy was a loving son, father, and friend that will be deeply missed.
Freddy is preceded in death by his father, John Winborne; and wife, Tonya Winborne.
He is survived by his two daughters, Skyler Winborne, and Madison Jenkins and husband Jace, all of Pampa; three grandchildren, Jericho Jenkins, Tonya Jenkins, and Charlotte Jenkins, all of Pampa; mother, Rhonda Watts of Pampa; stepmother, Sharon Winborne of Borger; sister, Marlena of Pampa; brother, J.J. of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda and Clifford Glassey.
