Gary Kotara

Gary L. Kotara, of Pampa, 65, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in Amarillo Texas.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors,

Gary was born to Lonnie and Lillian Austin Kotara, April 7, 1953 in Pampa, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Pampa and attended Pampa High School. He enjoyed playing baseball and was an excellent pool player. He had exceptional mechanical abilities, and was well known through his Water Well Business. Gary had a warm quirky personality and will be remembered by his family and friends.

He is survived by a sister Sherrian Kotara Hill and husband Steve of Angleton; two brothers Ronnie Kotara of Athens, and Larry Kotara, of San Antonio; two nieces, Lisa Kaye Sheffield and husband Dudley of League City, and Ashley Shrader of Santa Fe; two nephews, Richard Ethan Batson and wife Lisa of Clearlake, and William Brent Batson of San Antonio; a cousin, Christye of Lubbock.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
