Gary Larkin

Gary Larkin, 67, of Pampa passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Pampa.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2020 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating.  Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Larkin was born July 20, 1953 in Melvin to Don and Floy Larkin.  Gary graduated from Hoisington, Kansas High School in 1972.  He married Diana Leon on August 25, 1973 in Hoisington, Kansas.  She passed away on April 29, 2011 in Pampa.  Gary worked for BNSF in Kansas until moving to Skellytown in 1979.  He worked for Phillips in Borger at the Johnson Tank Farm as a stock and blending operator, retiring in 2007.  Gary loved his Lord and spending time with his family as well as, hunting, fishing, and shooting.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church serving on Sunday mornings.  Gary was also a member of Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM, a 32nd Degree Mason-Scottish Rite, and a member of the Khiva Shrine.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Don Larkin and his brother, Steve Larkin.

Survivors include his mother, Floy Larkin of Pampa; two sons, Dustin Larkin and wife Tanya of Pampa and Keith Larkin and wife Jaclyn of Vega; a sister, Melissa Karst and husband Kurt of Sweeny; and five grandchildren, Brody Larkin, Sydney Larkin, Mason Larkin, Taylor Larkin, and Rylie Larkin.
