Genelle Collier, 88, formerly of Pampa, passed away on August 16, 2018 in Independence, MO.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Genelle was born in Borger, TX to Elmer and Lurline Tiffany. Genelle married Ivan Collier on March 18, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico, and he passed away in 1998. They lived in Pampa all their married life and raised three children. She loved to eat at Furr’s Cafeteria and take others with her. She was generous, but opinionated. Genelle enjoyed oil painting, reading, researching family genealogy, and watching NFL; especially the Dallas Cowboys. She was a member of the Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ. After Ivan passed away, she moved to Independence, Missouri to be near her family.
She was preceded in death by Elmer Tiffany (Father) in 1978, Lurline Tiffany (Mother) in 1993, and Jean Luquette (Sister) in 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Lindsey and husband Tony of Ft. Worth; two sons, John Collier and wife Carolyn of Lexington, South Carolina, and Karl Collier and wife Debra of Independence, Missouri; 8 grandchildren: Nathan Collier and wife Holly of Ellijay, Georgia, Tiffany and husband John Sanders of Marshfield, Missouri, Larissa Collier of Independence, Missouri, Tim Collier and wife Magen of Raytown, Missouri, Stephanie and husband Trinity Baker of Independence, Missouri, David Collier, Brian Collier and Angela Collier of Independence, Missouri; and 5 great-grandchildren: Macy and Quinn Collier of Ellijay, Georgia, and Ellie, Audri and Owen Sanders of Marshfield, Missouri.
