Glenda was born February 18, 1958 in Pampa to Ann and David Turner. She grew up and attended school in Miami, graduating from Miami High School in 1976. Shortly after graduation she moved to Pampa where she resided ever since. Glenda met the love of her life, Len, through a mutual friend and they later wed on June 14, 1980 in Miami. She was a longtime insurance saleswoman, serving Hemphill, Roberts and Gray counties. After her insurance tenure, she went to work for Pampa Regional Medical Center in the billing department.

Glenda enjoyed taking care of her yard and planting flowers. She had a giving and charitable heart, helping anyone and everyone when in need, and be willing to drop everything to help her family. What she treasured the most, however, was the time spent with her grandchildren. Glenda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; and a father-in-law, Charles Mixon.
