Glenda Renee Neil

Glenda “Renee” Neil, 45, of Pampa, passed away December 10, 2019 in Pampa.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2019, at Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt, officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Glenda was born August 28, 1974 in Fort Wainwright, Alaska to Virgil and Aleyce Bowen Neil. She was an Army Brat, as her family would call her, for many years before they settled in Pampa, where she attended school and graduated from Pampa High School. She worked as a custodian at PISD for many years. She enjoyed fishing, making jewelry, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a good cook, loved talking to friends, and collecting dolphins and anything Winnie the Pooh. She was a member of Grace Baptist, where she sang in the choir and helped work the nursery.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Neil, Dub and Doloris Bowen, and Roy E. Lowe; a brother William Neil; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include her parents, Virgil and Aleyce Neil; two sisters, Linda Van Buskirk and husband Mark, and Dotdee Neil, all of Pampa; a brother, J. R. Neil and wife Brandy of Panhandle; grandmother, Jane Lowe; a niece, Summer Van Buskirk; five nephews, Ethan Neil, Carter Neil, Cooper Neil,  Michael Neil, and Robert Van Buskirk; sister-in-law, Ramona Neil of Pampa; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; many friends and acquaintances; and her five dogs.
