Gregory Todd Kelly, DDS, 53, of Pampa, passed away on November 24, 2018 at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ruby Moultrie, pastor, and Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. The family will receive friends in the Gathering Space at the church immediately following the services. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Greg was born May 4, 1965 in Houston to Barbara and Jerry Kelly. He graduated from Alief Elsik High School in Houston in 1983. He received a BS degree in zoology from the University of Texas at Austin and a DDS degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Greg married Stephanie Warren of Rowlett, Texas on February 10, 1990 in Houston.
After working as an associate in Huntsville, Texas, Greg started his own dental practice in Rockwall, Texas, where his first two children were born. In October of 1995, he moved his family and purchased a practice in Pampa, Texas where his third child was born, and where he would spend the next twenty-three years. While in Pampa, Greg was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church, serving on almost all the committees in the church. He was a member of the Pampa Rotary Club, Pampa Chamber of Commerce, a member and past president of the Panhandle Dental Society, and a member and former delegate of the Texas Dental Association.
Greg loved Pampa, playing golf, traveling and his Texas Longhorns. In addition, he loved his family, his many friends, and his patients. He was generous, loving and lived each day as if it was his last.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Stephanie; children, Samantha Kelly of Fort Worth, Scott F. W. Kelly and Harper Kelly, both of Pampa; his mother, Barbara Sargent of Georgetown; his father, Jerry Kelly and wife Diana of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and his sister, Cynthia Hopkins Decker of Georgetown.
