Gwen Whatley, 45, of Pampa formerly of Amarillo passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 in Pampa.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Ms. Whatley was born June 15, 1974 in Twentynine Palms, California and graduated from Amarillo High School. Gwen was a loving mother and a passionate grandmother. She loved painting ceramics, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Gwen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include three sons, Houston Whatley and wife Hilary of Dallas, Andrew Whatley of Pampa, and Codie Whatley and Auxana of Independence, Kansas; her father, Gary Duke and wife Trina of Sunrise Beach Village; her mother, Beverly Duke of Rosenberg; her maternal grandmother, Glenda Schueler of Amarillo; two sisters, Anna Duke of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Emilie Hoffart and husband Ryan of Houston; a brother, Micah Duke of Ennis; and four grandchildren, Hunter Whatley, Jason Whatley, Jasper Whatley and Addison Whatley.
Family visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
