Hortencia Lisa Ingle, 79, of White Deer passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Liturgy of the word will be said at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Hrudaya Raju Kondamundi, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley funeral Directors.
Mrs. Ingle was born on January 26, 1941 in Amarillo to Refugio and Sofia Asencio. Lisa graduated from White Deer High School in 1959. She married the love of her life John Harold Ingle on October 3, 1965 in Long Beach, California. They recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Lisa was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her roses and sunning to keep warm. Lisa's passion was taking care of her family and attending their activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond and Salvador Asencio; and her sister Ofelia Pate.
She is survived by her husband, John; three sons, John Robert Ingle of San Angelo, Jerome Ingle and wife Judith of Groom, and James Ingle and wife Misty of Amarillo; a daughter, Joy Skiles and husband Eric of Leon, Oklahoma; a brother, Henry Asencio of Santa Maria, California; ten grandchildren, Brandon Ingle, Jalen Ingle, Dr. Stephen Ingle and wife Hope, Cassandra Ingle, Andrew Ingle, Jake Ingle and wife Sara, Nicholas Ingle, Clayton Skiles, John Skiles and Christian Skiles; and three great-grandchildren, Lily Ingle, Addy Ingle, and Sullivan Ingle.
