Ismael Villarreal, Jr.

Ismael Villarreal, Jr., 65, of Pampa passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Borger.

Rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.

Memorial mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Luis Lopez, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Ismael Villarreal was born on October 3, 1957 in Corpus Christi to Ismael Villareal, Sr. and Teresa Salinas Villareal. He was living at the Borger Assisted Living and was transferred to Interim Hospice on October 6, 2022. He had many health complications leading up to his passing. He will be missed by family and friends who he touched through the years in Pampa and Toledo, Ohio. He was a great artist and loved to draw, watch his Dallas Cowboys, an avid reader, and loved rock and roll music. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School and served briefly in the United States Airforce. He was thankful and grateful to family in Pampa that took him in and worked as a handyman for years. He loved his Pampa family, but always wanted to return to Toledo, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; several aunts and uncles, Israel and Martha Salinas, Paul Salinas, Chuy Salinas, Victor and Consuelo Villarreal, and Juanita Valadez; and two cousins, Joe Ponce and Christina De Leon.

He is survived by his son, Curtis Dolt; his siblings, Gloria Villarreal and Roberto Villarreal; his aunts and uncles, Domingo Valadez, and Victor and Corrina Ponce; several cousins, Arthur Villarreal, Melissa Villarreal, Rachel Villarreal, Mari Villarreal, and Esteban Villarreal. He will be missed by all that knew him.
