J Jesus Rios Fraga

J Jesus Rios Fraga, 82, of Pampa passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Amarillo.

Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Taylor Elzner, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.

J Jesus was born on December 19, 1937 in Jerecauro Guanajuato, Mexico to Juan and Irene Rios Fraga. He married Herminia Cardona on January 4, 1959 in Jerecauro Guanajuato, Mexico. They moved to Pampa in 1978 where he worked as a roofer for 29 years at Parsley’s Sheet Metal. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. J Jesus enjoyed caring for animals, taking walks, spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by parents; son, Juan Rios; and daughter Delgadina Rios.

Jesus is survived by his wife of the home; 3 sons, Paulino Rios and wife Teresa of Midland, Miguel Angel and wife Margarita and Javier Rios and wife Adriana, all of Pampa; 5 daughters, Esperanza Resendiz and husband Raul, Irene Rios and husband Hector, Maria Rivera and husband Isidro all of Pampa, and Bernadina Rios and husband Rafael and Lorena Rios and husband Santiago, all of Jerecauro Guanajuato, Mexico; 25 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
