Jack Carrao, 84, of Scottsdale, Arizona and formerly of Oak Brook, Illinois, passed away on August 28, 2021 in McLean, Texas.
Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Petronille Catholic Church, 420 Glenwood Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa, Texas.
Jack was born January 27, 1937 in Chicago, ILL to Mary and John Carrao. Jack married the love of his life, Patricia Patronski on April 12, 1958. For over 62 years he was a loving husband and they shared a beautiful life together. Jack built his company from the ground up with his grit and determination, he became very successful in the trucking industry, and he helped many people along the way. He was a hardworking man who loved his family beyond words. Jack enjoyed golfing, cooking, traveling, and playing cards. He was so blessed to spend his remaining years enjoying his 5 great grandchildren and they were the joy of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; 2 daughters, Sandy Louis-Carrao and Brandy Piche and husband Brad; 4 grandchildren, Jaclene Louis, Joseph Louis and wife Jordyn, Brianna Marcos and husband Sam, and Brock Piche; 5 great grandchildren, Francesca Griseta, Anthony Grisetta, Gino Griseta, Sophia Louis, and Joseph Louis; siblings, Beverly Carrao and Jerry Carrao.
