James Dee Hardy, 52, of Pampa, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 in Pampa.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
James was born on November 7, 1968 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Carl Ray and Sonja Lynn Ham Hardy. He grew up in Sherman where he attended school for several years. James moved to Pampa in 1999 where he resided until his passing. He married Theresa Hinson on April 10, 2003 in Pampa. James worked as a roofer for many small roofing companies. He enjoyed playing baseball, going fishing, and spending time with his children. James was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Hardy of Lefors; 4 children, Joshua Hardy of Sherman, Matthew Hardy, Devin Hardy, and Charles Benavidez, all of Lefors; 4 sisters, Linda Hardy, Brenda Meehan, Cheryl Harvey, and Mary Hardy, all of Sherman; his aunt, Julie Hester and husband Tommy of Pampa; 6 cousins, Thomas Lynn Ham, Billy Hardy, Dee Hardy, JW Hardy, Bobby Hardy, and Richard Hardy; and 7 grandchildren.
