James “Jim” Tolleson, 81, of Pampa passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Pampa.
Services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kyle Ohsfeldt, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Jim was born on August 13, 1938 in Winthrop, AR to Jack and Della Smith Tolleson. He married Debera Martin on July 16, 2002 in New Mexico. He had a love of motorcycles and coaching softball. He was a straightforward man and you always knew where you stood with him. He was the life of every party, never met a stranger, and was as ornery as they come. He had a heart the size of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Della Lynn Tolleson; son, Terry Lynn Tolleson; 2 sisters, Coela Martin and Sybil Weems; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife Debera of the home; 4 daughters, Kim Worden of Pampa, Jackee “Yakkie” Pierce of Mobile, AL, Samantha Swan of Eight Mile, AL, and Tara Santacruz and husband J.R. of Amarillo; 6 granddaughters, Savanna Waite, Haley Miller, Dana Deville, Jessica Saxon, Jennifer Saxon, and Lizzy Santacruz; 6 great-grandchildren, Kimberly, James, Landon, Rex, J.R., and Arianna; and a host of friends.
