Janet Babb, 78, of Pampa, passed away on July 3, 2021 in Pampa.
Celebration of life memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jerry Lane of Community Crossroads Church of White Deer, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Janet was born on April 20, 1943 in Borger to Bertha and Roy Eagan where she grew up and attended school. She later met Demas R. Babb in the early 60’s and they later married on March 27, 1966 in Borger. They shared almost 48 years before he preceded her in death on March 1, 2014. She worked in the banking business, helped with elderly adult care, but being a homemaker is what made her most proud. Janet in her younger days loved to travel with her husband, Demas in their RV. She also liked computer games and you could always find her playing online games. Later in life, Janet liked her morning coffee on the back porch but what brought her the most joy was spending time with her great-granddaughter, Levin.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and by eleven siblings.
Her survivors include her daughter, Amy Babb of Norman, Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Stacey White and husband Cory of Lubbock; a great-granddaughter, Levin White of Lubbock; and by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
