Janice Flowers Aufleger, 77, of Amarillo, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 19, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor at Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Janice was born February 4, 1941 in Lubbock, TX. She graduated from Pampa High School. She married Earl Mitchell and he preceded her in death. She was an administrative assistant at Northwest Texas Hospital for 26 years. She married Gene Aufleger December 2, 1975 in Hollis, OK. He preceded her in death December 8, 2006. She enjoyed the outdoors, tennis and being around her family. She was a Baptist
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Trecia Saltzman and Becky Anderson and a brother Virgil Flowers.
Survivors include 3 sons, John Mitchell and wife Lisa of Pampa, Randy Mitchell of Amarillo and Chris Mitchell of Elk City; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
