Jann Johnston

Jann Johnston, 73, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 in Pampa.

Services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Joel Osborne, pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Jann was born on June 12, 1951 in Big Spring to Dorothy Lee Lehew Fritch. She moved to Pampa when she was a teenager and graduated from Pampa High School. After graduating, Jann was a homemaker for several years. She later worked small jobs to help support her family. Jann enjoyed painting, reading, and writing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Jann was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Fritch; one brother, Mark Fritch; and one grandson, Erik Drake Johnston.

She is survived by her two sons, Corey Johnston and wife Jennifer and Joel Johnston and wife Valeria, all of Pampa; four siblings, Tony Fritch, Mike Fritch, Claudia Kessler, and Cindy Fritch; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Calvin Johnston, Jaiden Kori Johnston, Erika Johnston, and Devin Johnston; and four great-grandchildren, Emery Johnston, Everett Johnston, Emilia Johnston, and Emmitt Johnston.
