Jo Ann Knutson

Jo Ann Knutson, 80, of Pampa, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Pampa.  Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at One Way Baptist Church (formerly First Baptist Church) in McLean with Rev. Zack McCoy of Houston and Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of First United Methodist Church in McLean, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.  Jo Ann was born on November 13, 1936 in Carrol Creek in Donley County, Texas. She attended school in McLean and married Don Knutson on August 29, 1952 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. They moved to Pampa in 1960 from McLean. She was a member of Barrett Baptist Church in Pampa. She was a homemaker and collected carnival glass and cookie jars. She also loved to bowl in her Tuesday morning league. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirlene Admire. Survivors include her husband, Don of the home; a son, Larry Knutson and wife Carmen of Pampa; 3 daughters, LaDona McCoy and husband Roger and Laurie Knutson, all of Pearland and Lynn Snider and husband Rod of Conroe; a brother, Glenn Guthrie of Fritch; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
