Joaquin Salcedo, Jr.

Joaquin Salcedo, Jr., 22, of Pampa, passed away March 26, 2020 in Pampa.

There are no services scheduled at this time.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Joaquin was born August 25, 1997 in Lamar, Colorado to Anita Perry and Joaquin Salcedo.  As a young boy he attended schools in Lamar before his family moved to Pampa where he later attended school.  Joaquin worked for Taco Bell.  He liked to spend his time keeping up with current affairs by watching the news every day, playing his Xbox, and he really enjoyed being at his Tia’s house.  What was most important to Joaquin was his family.  He enjoyed being around his mother, siblings, his niece and cousins.  He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, he will never be forgotten by his family.

Survivors include his mother, Anita Perry of the home; his father,  Joaquin Salcedo of Lamar, Colorado; a brother, Francisco Salcedo of Pampa; two sisters, Micah Salcedo of Lamar, Colorado, and Maria Salcedo of Pampa; his grandfather, Ricardo Rodriguez-Ortega of Mexico; an aunt, Laura Trevizo of Pampa; and other extended family.
