Joe Arnold Phillips, 75, longtime resident of Pampa, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Pampa.
Joe was born on October 26, 1942 in Pampa to Hazel and Izah Phillips. He attended school and graduated from Pampa High School with the class of 1961. Shortly after graduating, he met the love of his life, Vicki Payne, and they married on January 25, 1963. Mr. Phillips was a longtime property manager here in Pampa, helping to oversee several rental properties. Joe was an avid car enthusiast who loved to buy, sell, and trade cars. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, and by his two sisters, Martha Organ and June Basham.
His survivors include his wife Vicki of the home; his three sons, Greg Phillips and wife Kaye of Lubbock, Mike Phillips and wife Diana of Pampa, and Monty Phillips and wife Nena of Durham, Oklahoma; his eight grandchildren, and his ten great-grandchildren; and by his sister, Carolyn Goodner and husband Dale of Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Mr. Phillips chose to donate his body to science in hopes to help others and there will be no services planned.
