Jose Gonzalez Ledezma

Jose Gonzales Ledezma, 70, of Pampa, passed away November 27, 2018 in Pampa. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018, at New Life Assembly of God, with Rev. Sergio Urrutia, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Jose was born September 23, 1948 in Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a rancher. He moved to Borger in 1994, and then to Pampa in 2012. Jose loved tending his garden, planting and cultivating his crops. He enjoyed a very active life, dancing and loving his children and grandchildren. Jose was always singing throughout the day. He enjoyed treating his family to dinner at restaurants, and he reminisced often about his adventures. Jose was down to earth and not worried about possessions. He was previously married to Luz Elena Perez for 24 years. She gave him five children. He later married Armira Tinoco. Survivors include his wife, Armira Gonzalez of Amarillo; his children, Jose Luis Gonzalez and wife Patricia of Borger, Selene Gonzalez and husband Jessie of Pampa, Eraclio Gonzalez and wife Elizabeth of Amarillo, and Luz Elena Gonzalez and husband Hugo of Pampa; grandchildren, Jose Luis Gonzalez, Lesley Gonzalez, Eric Alvidrez, Ivan Raul Gonzalez, Jessie Alvidrez, Shalom Zoe Gonzalez, Yaroslavy Gonzalez, Xavier Aguillon, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Nabi Gonzalez, Gio Alvidrez, and Xander Aguillon; and brother, Manuel Gonzalez and wife Sara of Mexico. He was preceded in death by a son, Jose Luis Gonzalez in 1977.
