Jose Ramirez was born on August 25, 1948, in El Salvador. He later moved to Los Angeles, California where he met the love of his life, Enma Ramirez, where they later married in June 28,1998, swearing to love, respect, and care for each other in health and illness for the rest of their lives and that is exactly how it was until God called him into his presence.

Jose was a hardworking man, passionate about his work and what he did. He was a man who liked to stand out and learn new things and thanks to that he studied and got his commercial driver’s license and that was his job for the last 25 years. This last year of 2024, they decided to move to Pampa, Texas to accomplish the dream and desire that they had of buying their own house to enjoy their retirement and rest from their hard work of all these years, and thank God they fulfilled their wish, although it did not last long, but the short time that it lasted they enjoyed it together fixing their house and they were so happy until the very last day.

Just like he was a hardworking man, he was also a happy man who liked music, going out to dance, and watching movies. For him there was no sorrow, sadness, or pain. For him we had to face life with a smile and full of happiness no matter the outcome. Life with him never had a dull moment because he enjoyed making his loved ones laugh with his jokes.

Today he leaves his wife with immense pain in her heart for the loss of great love, with whom she shared and cared until his last breath, but always grateful to God and life for having allowed her to meet a great man who not only loved her, but respected her, cared for her, and always tried to give her the best.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Luz E. Ramirez.

Jose is survived by his wife Enma; two daughters, Karla and Silvia; grandchildren, Juan, David, Isaac, and Rebeca; brothers, Ricardo, Winston, Everth, Ruben, Melvin, and Victor; sisters, Ana D., Maria C., Lilian A., Blanca R., Matilde E., Gladis R., and Noemy; and other extended family.
