Karen F. Cotten Taylor

Karen F. Cotten Taylor, 74, of Fritch and formerly of Pampa, passed away on November 10, 2017 in Amarillo. Memorial graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Isai Ramirez of Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Karen is asleep in Jesus until His return. She was born to Roy Arol and Lucy Mae Cotten on January 13, 1943 in Pampa. Karen received her vocational nursing license in 1965 and later went on to receive her registered nurse license in 1979. She retired from Northwest Texas Hospital in 2008. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and her husband, Fern and Veril Ross; and a brother, Bobby Lee Cotten. She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Herrington; sister-in-law, Darlene Cotten; niece, Valorie Kelly and husband Chris and family of the home; nephew, Clifford and wife Jackie Ross and family of Port Aransas; nieces, Leigh, Thresa, Terrie, and Becky and family; nephews, Vernon, and Christopher and family.
