Kathleen Cantrell

Kathleen Cantrell, 56, of Pampa, passed away November 12, 2018 in Lubbock.

Celebration of Life Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Kathleen was born October 25, 1962 in Stephenville to Betty and Verne Cook. As a young girl her family moved to Pampa where she spent most of her life. She would attend schools and graduate from Pampa High School. She married Jimmy Cantrell on July 8, 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kathleen would enter the medical profession becoming an LVN where she proudly served and cared for many people over the years. Kathleen worked for several years at St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Panhandle and the TDCJ Baten and Jordan Units. She loved the outdoors where she liked to fish and camp with her husband. Kathleen will be remembered as a giving and generous person who always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Cantrell of the home; three sons, Jeff McElroy and wife Stephanie of Kansas, Brandon McElroy and wife Jesie of Elbert, Colorado, and Matt Clark and wife Tayler of Yukon, Oklahoma; her parents, Betty and Verne Cook of Pampa; two brothers, James Cook and wife Pam of Pampa and Steven Cook and wife Pam of Amarillo; twelve grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.
