Kathy Williams, 61, of Canadian, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her home in Canadian.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Donald Hill, pastor of The River Ministries, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Viewing will begin on Thursday at 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa and from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Kathy was born July 30, 1961 in Pampa to M.B. and Clessie Ferris. She attended Pampa High School. Soon after high school she married the love of her life, George “Stretch” Williams on October 15, 1986 in Canadian. He passed away on January 13, 2023. Kathy and Stretch were avid Canadian Wildcat and Dallas Cowboy fans. Kathy worked in retail and fast food for several years before she began housekeeping and care giving for many of her friends. She was a wonderful caregiver of Stretch through his illness. Kathy was an active member of The River Ministries and loved her church. She had a servant’s heart and enormous love for her family and friends. Her smile would shine even through her difficult times. She was a devoted wife, daughter and sister.
She was preceded in death by her father, M.B. Ferris; brother-in-law, Danny Moman; nephew, Austin Burton; and many friends.
Survivors include her mother, Clessie Ferris of Pampa; sister, Christine Moman of Pampa; two brothers, Bruce Ferris and wife Ginger and Dale Ferris all of Pampa; mother-in-law, Loetta Williams of Canadian; brother-in-law, C.J. Williams of Canadian; and 5 nephews; 1 niece and numerous adopted-in-love kids.
