Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene Fisher

Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene Fisher, 59, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Pampa.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jim Sinyard, pastor at Carpenter’s Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Kenny was born on March 21, 1963 in Brawley, California to David Fisher and Myrtle Searl Rogers. He moved to Texas in 1972. After Kenny finished school, he began working at Fairview Cemetery where he was employed for several years. He held many jobs, doing whatever necessary to provide for his family. Most recently, Kenny worked in sales at Chief Plastics in Pampa. Kenny married Mitzie Medley on April 6, 2002. They were happily married for 16 years until her passing on October 2, 2018.

Kenny enjoyed singing karaoke, going fishing, and watching Nascar races. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, if you ever lost a bet with Kenny, you would be forced to wear his favorite cheese hat. Kenny also enjoyed playing cards with his family, he taught his children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews how to play penny poker. However, there was nothing he loved more than spoiling his grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. Kenny treated every child as if they were one of his own. He will be remembered for his loving and ornery personality.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, David Fisher and Myrtle Searl Rogers; his wife, Mitzie Fisher; two sisters, Marie Fisher and Mona Campbell; one nephew, Brandon Poteet; one niece, Cassidy Fisher; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his five children, William Fisher and wife Esmeralda of Cooper, Ashley Medley of Pampa, Sarah Medley-Hinshaw and wife Savanah of Pampa, Nikki Medley of Amarillo, and Jackie Kindle and husband Derek of Pampa; two brothers, Alan Fisher, and Rodney Fisher and wife Paula, all of Pampa; 19 grandchildren, Zamora, Devon, Daxlyn, Daxtyn, Karlee, Bryson, Ashton, Benny, Emmery, Rythem, Sayge, Michael, Storie, Madison, Kaleb, Bridget, Ma’Kayla, Alexandra, and Katherine; one great-grandchild on the way; and four nieces and nephews, Stephanie Liston and husband Russell, Ashley Dunham and husband Brandon, Amber Williams and husband Tyson, and Aaron Fisher; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
