Kristen Knoop

Kristen Knoop, 28, of Pampa, passed away on May 30, 2022, in Gray County.

Celebration of life services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Joel Osborne of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Kristen was born on July 25, 1993, in Pontiac, Michigan to Sharon Hunt and Robert Knoop. Kristen started school in Michigan and finished school in Texas. After high school, Kristen worked her way through nursing school. She worked as a traveling nurse as well as nursing homes. She was currently employed at Caprock Nursing in Borger until her passing.

She was one of the most caring loving souls and when it came to taking care of her residents. Kristen was a great nurse and always put them first. When she was with her residents, she was genuine and a truly loving and giving soul. All her residents and co-workers loved her.  

Kristen was a beautiful, smart, and an independent person. She loved being around her family, especially her boys. Her boys were the most important part of her life. Kristen will be remembered for not only her tenacious loving spirit but also as a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two children, Conner West and Hayden Winborne, both of Pampa; her mother, Sharon Hunt and husband Don of Pampa; father, Robert Knoop of Childress; sister, Amy Carter of Pampa; five brothers, R.J. Knoop, Adam Knoop and wife Cylenna, Joshua Knoop, Timothy Knoop, and Jason McKenney, all of Pampa; maternal grandmother, Muriel Davis of Pampa; two half-sisters, Angela Knoop and Julia Beardsley, both of Michigan; a half-brother, Robert Knoop III, of Michigan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
