Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Celebration of Life visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at The Harbor Community Event Center, 708 N. Hobart, Pampa, Texas. This will be a come and go setting and the family encourages his friends and family to come by and share stories about Kyle.
Kyle was born April 27, 1981 in Amarillo to Rodney and Debra Huff and attended South Grand Prairie High School. In 2002, Kyle made his move up to White Deer with nothing but the shirt on his back, to live with Granny Kotara to work on the Kotara farms and Carson County Feedlot. Kyle had the opportunity to go to work for K&K, Inc. in 2004, starting at an entry level job. The next 12 years, he would work his way up to becoming a very talented, certified crane operator. In 2018, Kyle made the move to Austin Industrial, a contractor for Phillips 66, in Borger. He worked extremely hard to get to where he was in his career, being able to buy his home in White Deer in 2006.
Kyle was a big man in stature and had an even bigger, caring heart for others. He was described as a “big teddy bear”. He loved being around kids, and they seemed to draw close to him. Brutal honesty, integrity, and his ability to make people smile is what he was known for. Kyle loved his family, especially when they had gatherings and reunions. Kyle was always thinking and caring for others, up until his death, as he was completely selfless.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Huff; grandparents, John and Theresa Kotara, Fred and Cleon Huff, and Russ and Louise Hudspeth; uncles, Maynard, Gary, and Kenny Kotara; aunt, Lynne Voyles; a cousin, Larry Huff; and his beloved schnauzer, Rascal.
Survivors include his fiancée, Leslie Cobb of Boise City, Oklahoma; two bonus children, Cayl and Davis; his mother, Debbie Huff of Grand Prairie; two brothers, Jayson Huff and wife Kara of Arlington and Tony Huff and wife Kellie of Mansfield; sister, Jamie Brown and wife Blake of Amarillo; 6 nephews, Jack, Eyan, Konnor, T.J., Jaxton, and Benny; and his “work wife”, Billy Harris; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Memorials can be sent to a favorite charity.
