Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Buck, pastor of Redeemer Church, and Ray Dean Stewart, Lana’s brother, officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Lana was born April 12, 1948 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Herb and Verna Stewart. She attended Pampa High School and was in the class of 1966.  Lana married Butch Miller on October 20, 1967 in Pampa.  After they wed, they lived in the panhandle area for several years before moving to Colorado Springs Co, where they lived for 15 years.  Their next stop would be on the central coast of California where they lived there for 25 years and then eventually moving back to Pampa in 2011 to be closer to family.  She enjoyed family time such as vacations, camping trips and sporting activities while also enjoying reading and various arts and crafts.

Lana was very strong in her faith and was always there for her family as they went through good times and bad times.  She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandma, great grandma, aunt and friend to all who needed her with a voice of reason and wisdom.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herb and Verna, and her mother-in-law, Faye Dean Miller.

Survivors include her husband, Butch of the home; daughter, Devney Anderson and husband Michael of Pampa; son, Cody Miller of Templeton, CA; 4 sisters, Diana Martin of Amarillo, Gay Lea Green and husband Andy of Flower Mound, Carmelita Smith and husband Bill of Amarillo, and Brenda Daniels and husband Ricky of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Ray Dean Stewart and wife Eva of Albuquerque, NM, and Wayne Morris of Tulia; sister-in-law, Linda Clemmons of Lefors; 5 grandchildren, Megan Gutierrez, Chas Frick, Mason Brandenburg, Cooper Anderson, and Nevin Miller; great grandchildren Weston and Aubrie Jones, Jameson Brandenburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
