Linda C. Johnson, 76, of Borger passed away on November 16, 2018 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery with Brother Richard Gravley, pastor of First Baptist Church of Claude, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Johnson was born December 28, 1941 in Newark, Arkansas and attended schools in Perryton. She managed convenience stores most of her career, retiring in 1998. She has made her home in Borger for the last 18 years. Linda loved country music, dancing, sewing, and her precious dogs, Honey and Bebe. She loved her family and was called “Anma” to her grandchildren and “Nanny” to her great grandchildren. Linda was a very kind and caring person and enjoyed spending time traveling. For the past 4 years she was taken care of by her favorite caregiver, Linda, her granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Tom Davis; and her step-father.
Survivors include Dennis Caldwell of the home; 4 daughters, Brenda Yip and husband Tony of Denver, Eugenia Holden of Amarillo, Carolyn Lowe and husband Leslie of Claude, and Angie Long and husband Jeff of Borger; a son, Mike Gossett of Utah; a sister, Kathy Crank and husband Terry of Benton, Arkansas; a brother, Larry Davis and wife Diana of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
