With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Loretta Lee Thomas on November 16, 2024. Born on October 16, 1946, in Napa, Idaho, Loretta was a loving soul. Her 78 years on this earth were filled with boundless love, dedication, and kindness.
Loretta will have a reception on Friday, January 17, 2025 at The Harbor Community Event Center from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Loretta spent the majority of her professional life as a Sales Associate at Walmart, where she was not just a diligent employee but also a cherished colleague. She worked tirelessly to do right by her coworkers and the customers she encountered. She was a valued team member and an honored employee during her time there.
Loretta leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. She is survived by her father, Robert Hiatt; her brothers, Bob Hiatt and Scott Hiatt; her sister, Robin Hiatt, her husband, David Thomas; her daughter, Genna Salazar; her son, Jimmy Wright; her son-in-law, Jerry Salazar; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Wright; and her grandchildren, Shawna "Remy" Salazar, Brent "Levi" Salazar, Bailey Wright, and Payden Wright, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Hiatt, and her grandson, Daniel Wright. Each of these individuals was a vital part of Loretta's life, contributing to the beautiful tapestry of love and support that defined her existence.
Loretta's legacy is one of cherished memories. From raising her children with love, to imparting wisdom to her grandchildren, and always being a beloved friend, Loretta left her mark on this world and it is better for it.
