Lorine Ware Cash

Lorine Ware Cash, 79, of Pampa, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Baptist Saint Anthony’s Hospital.

Lorine was born February 23, 1939 in Carthage, TX. She graduated from Turner High School in Carthage, TX and then acquired both her bachelor's and master’s degrees from Prairie View A&M University.  She married Edward Earl Cash on June 16, 1963.  She was a kindergarten teacher at Lamar Elementary until she retired after 31 years of service.  She dearly loved the Lord, in which she loved attending church, traveling, sewing, cooking, and being around her family.  She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.  She was  a devoted Christian.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edgar “Happy" Ware, her mother, Lucy Ann Ware, and her four brothers, William Sam “WS" Ware, Doug Ware, David Ware, and Albert Ware.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Earl Cash of Pampa; one son, Devin Cash of Houston; four daughters, Vickey Norman and husband Jerry of Borger, Lesley Cook and husband James of Cypress, TX, and twin daughters, Staci and Traci Cash of Cypress, TX;  two sisters, Katherine Moffitt and husband Otha of Dallas and Mary Williams of Dallas; one brother, Dale Ware and wife Cheryl of Dallas; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

There are no services planned at this time.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
