Lourita "Rita" Geiger

September 6, 1929 — January 25, 2020

Lourita Corinne “Rita” Geiger, 90, of Pampa, passed away January 25, 2020 in Pampa.

Celebration of life services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with, Rev. Dr. Ken McIntosh, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Geiger was born on September 6, 1929 in Wichita Falls to Etta Corinne and Oran Lane. Rita graduated from Pampa High School in the mid 1940’s. After years of living in various parts of Texas & Oklahoma, she moved back to Pampa in 1977.  Rita then worked at Alco until her retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Pampa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, William “Bill” Henry Geiger.

Her survivors include two daughters, Deborah Hall and husband Andrew of Wichita, Kansas, and Sandra Pulatie of Pampa; two grandsons, Andrew Nicholas Hall and Matthew Hall, both of Wichita, Kansas; two granddaughters, Felicia Little and husband Jeff, and Courtney Dills and husband Richard A Dills, all of Pampa; eight great-grandchildren, Austin Hall, Jack Hall, Jorel Little, Alexis Little, Brasston Pulatie, Ashleigh Pulatie, Kimberleigh Pulatie, and Cayson Pulatie; and three great-great grandchildren, Xzara Pulatie, Lusion Pulatie and Brynleigh McCloud.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Pampa Nursing Center staff as well as Barbara Davis with Interim Hospice for their care of Rita.
